Rotary Brazing Furnace with Cooling Segment |
Rotary Hearth Furnaces are used in situations where there is a continuous flow of work to be processed. They are normally used for heating components up before being removed at temperature. However we have built rotary furnaces that have cooling segments, for brazing, or secondary rotary hearth below, for stress relieving aluminium. Rotary Hearth Furnaces are ideal where space available is restricted. For example: an annealing conveyor plant that is 9 metres long could be only 3 metres diameter across the hearth if it were a rotary type furnace. They are also easier to make gas tight for atmosphere control and have superior heat containment, because no heated area gets exposed directly to the outside environment, and more often than not only have one aperture which is used for loading and unloading. Every Rotary Hearth furnaces we have built have been designed the meet the exact specification required by the customer.
Common Processes Include :- Billet Heating Annealing Brazing Hardening Stress Relieving Etc… Some of the processes will need other equipment to compliment the rotary furnace. |
