Multipurpose Box Furnace

This Box Furnace was primarily designed to be a companion temperer to a sealed quench furnace. However it was also supplied with an internal nickel-chrome retort which allowed it to be used for nitriding and other controlled atmosphere applications.

This furnace was dispatched for export to Saudi Arabia and was supplied along with a sealed quench furnace.

This photo shows the plant being loaded into a cargo crate which was later sealed water tight.
