This Brazing furnace was designed to braze trumpet valve assemblies. It was designed with a heating segment and a water-cooled section all built into the same rotation; and unlike most rotary furnaces it had separate doors for loading and unloading. The main casing was also gas tight to hold a controlled atmosphere, and both doors were fitted with flame curtains.
